Bishop Michel Kassarji, the Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, paid a visit to His Holiness the Catholicos Aram Keshishian on August 4, 2023.
The Armenian Church Catholicosate of Cilicia at Bikfaya, and concerns concerning the two churches were discussed.
His Eminence described the situation in Iraq, particularly the current dilemma that the Chaldean Church is facing. The Catholicos expressed his gratitude and respect to His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Louis Sako, and he promised to attend the Chaldean Church’s evening of prayer on August 12 at the Archangel Raphael Cathedral in Baabda, Brasilia, in solidarity with His Beatitude Patriarch Sako and the Chaldean Church.
