On May 23, 2021, Bishop Michel Kassarji, the primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, assisted by Mgr. Raphael Traboulsi and Father Youssef Khaled, celebrated the holy mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Zahle and the Beqaa, at 6 p.m., on the occasion of Pentecost and the Holy Marian month.
Following the Gospel, Bishop Kassarji presented a sermon underlining the significance of the event, in which he urged the Chaldean community of Zahle and Beqaa to be faithful to their church despite the challenges and distances involved. In addition, He expressed admiration to the Tele Lumiere-Noursat for transmitting the events of the ritual service.
