On Good Friday, April 7, 2023, the Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, assisted by the Episcopal Vicar General, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, and Father Nima Saliba, primate of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Sepulchre, headed the service of unloading the crucified and the funeral of Christ, at half past three in the Cathedral of the Archangel Raphael in Baabda Brasilia.
After the Gospel recitation, Father Saliba gave a spiritual speech inspired by the occasion.
A number of members of the Chaldean community and parishioners participated in the service, wishing that these seasons of salvation would bring the dawn of the resurrection to the suffering Lebanon.
