On Sunday, April 24, 2022, corresponding to Holy Easter Sunday according to the Julian calendar, Monsignor Raphael Trabelsi visited the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Mar Elias – Shwaya, where he received from Archbishop Constantine Kayal a flame of the holy light coming from the empty tomb of the Savior in Jerusalem and transferred it to the Archangel Raphael Cathedral Where the Archbishop Michel Kassarji, presided over the Divine Liturgy at ten thirty in the morning, in the presence of the relics of the cross from Paris.
After the bible recitation, Bishop Kassargi delivered a speech that shed light on the meanings of the occasion and on the place of the Holy Cross in the heritage of the Church.
