On October 23, 2021, the Chaldean Cathedral of Angel Raphael held an evening of prayer and prostration on the second day of celebrations for the feast of the Angel St. Raphael.
The liturgical process began with the Rosary prayer, interspersed with confessions. Then a Divine Liturgy occurred, and was served by the choir of the cathedral in cooperation with the choir of the sisters of St. Veronica Juliani. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, assisted by Fathers Joseph Raffoul, Maurice El Khoury Francis, and Deacon Emmanuel from the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
At the end of this spiritual evening, on the eve of the feast of the Angel Raphael, the worshipers in the episcopal chamber relied on the relics of nearly thirty important Saints, including the four Evangelists, Saint Alphonse Liguori, Saint Gabriel of Our Lady of the Passion and a relic from the tomb of the Virgin Mary, the mother of God, who is in Gethsemane, in Jerusalem, in the olive grove.
