A team led by the Ectus Association of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sisters of Jesus Crucified visited the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut on August 21, 2023, and met with His Eminence Bishop Michel Kassarji, primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon. In view of what is happening in Iraq, the delegation stated their willingness to support the Chaldean Church, recent events and developments.
Bishop Kassarji thanked the group for attending the evening of prayer in support of His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Mar Louis Raphael Sako. Everyone talked on the means that should be used to show solidarity with the Chaldean Church in Iraq.
