Bishop Michel Kassarji, Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, celebrated the rite of the blessing of the “Light of the Magi” and the Christmas Divine Liturgy, at the Archangel Raphael Cathedral in Baabda, with the help of Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Father Youssef Khaled Micha, and Deacon Joseph Isho, in the presence of the Lebanese, Iraqi and Syrian Chaldean community.
After the Gospel, Bishop Kassarji gave a speech that shed light on the meanings of the occasion and hoped that this distress in Lebanon would be cleared by the new year 2021 and with the intercessions of the birth of the Savior.
