On August 4, 2021, Bishop Michel Kassarji, primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, participated in the Divine Liturgy presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, for the victims and martyrs of the Beirut port explosion on the first anniversary, attended by a group of bishops, priests and the families of the victims. The divine liturgy took place at the scene of the explosion, the port of Beirut.
