Bishop Michel Kassarji, Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, attended the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon, which was held in Zouk Mosbeh in the presence of a number of bishops, and General Superiors.

The attendees discussed topics related to the Church in Lebanon, such as the situation of Catholic schools, Pope Francis’ meeting with heads of Lebanese churches, which will take place in Rome on July 1st, and the amending of the churches contributions to the Assembly.

The meeting also discussed the Interior Minister request to the Lebanese citizens to registrate on the Covid 19 Vaccine Platform, as well as other matters and challenges facing Lebanon.
