The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih welcomed on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Beatitude of the Patriarch Cardinal Louis Raphael Saco, and a number of the Iraqi Chaldean bishops at the world. At the beginning of the meeting, President Barham Salih congratulated Cardinal Louis Saco on the annual conference of the Chaldean Church and the Chaldean Synod sessions, wishing them success in their work, praising the recommendations of the conference and especially supporting peaceful coexistence.
