On Saturday, October 24, 2020, at five in the evening, the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut celebrated the feast of Archangel Raphael, its Patron Saint, at the Archangel Raphael Cathedral in Baabda. The ecumenical prayer, in which participated a number of Beirut’s Metropolitans from the sister churches, was presided over by Bishop Michel Kassarji, Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon.

The evening ceremony included various hymns and prayers for the healing of the World from the Covid 19 Pandemic and special prayers for Lebanon to get over the Pandemic and the economic and social crisis.

The ceremony was attended by Archbishops Daniel Gorieh, Charles Mourad, George Assadourian, and Georges Bakouni; Archimandrites Yatron Giuliana, Nektarios Khairallah, Roni Maatouk, and Charbel Bahi, in addition to chaldean parish priests Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi and Father Youssef Khaled, and Dr. Michel Abs, Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC).
